Wanted, Foul, & Worthy, a Relic Worlds Novella

I've fallen into a pattern with Relic Worlds where one year I'll release a book, and the next year I release a series of short stories.  Then the next year is a book, then short stories, etc.  This year, however, I decided that instead of writing a bunch of short stories, I would write a serialized story with one chapter releasing each month that in the end is a complete novella.

It's called Wanted, Foul, and Worthy and it's a sci fi version of The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.  I originally intended to do it as a short story; but as I started, I quickly realized that it needed to be longer.  I didn't want it to be one of the main books, so I decided to change this year up a little bit and just have this be one stretched out short story.  It was the perfect time to do it, too, as there were a few characters missing from book three, and they happen to be the perfect characters for this one.  I also had a criminal character from Jude and Little Jack's past that melded perfectly into this.

Relic Worlds, Book 3, Part 1 is Now Available!

The third Relic Worlds book, entitled Lancaster James & the Shattered Remains of Antiquity is off to a start with part 1 now available on Amazon.  There will be three parts to this book, each released three months apart.  When they're all complete, a completed paperback will be released.

The Shattered Remains of Antiquity follows Lancaster as he tries to collect three important pieces to a powerful artifact.  This artifact was believed to be the only solution to the dangerous Sigueran civilization, which is believed to be what killed off so many other alien races throughout the centuries.

Holding a treasure hunt at Wondercon

I'm heading out to Wondercon this weekend to promote Relic Worlds.  I know this is a time when I'm supposed to be promoting Two Gun Hart.  After all, it just came out.  But unfortunately I can't change when the convention happens, and this is the biggest one for independent sci fi and fantasy authors.  It draws the numbers, especially those who are really into sci fi and fantasy, though it isn't so mainstream that we independents get cut out.

So I'll be at the Greater Los Angeles Writers Society booth Friday morning, Saturday afternoon, and Sunday late afternoon.  I'll be running a treasure hunt all three days.  People who wish to play follow the clues in the photo below and photograph them.  They then post their pictures to Facebook and Twitter with the hashtag: #relicworldstreasurehunt.
